Virgin Islands Radio Nets :

VHF / UHF Nets :
Virgin Islands Weather Net – Meets daily on the Territory-wide repeater network at 0700 AST (1100 UTC) each morning; hams provide local weather conditions. Get to know your fellow hams (and know that your rig is working!)

VI ARES Net – Net for Virgin Islands Amateur Radio Emergency Services. Meets weekly on the Territory-wide repeater network every Monday at 2000 AST (0000 – midnight – on Tuesday UTC). The intent of the net is to ensure storm readiness and to pass information of local interest to local hams. Visitors are encouraged to join.

Caribbean DMR Net – Meets on Thursdays at 2000 AST (0000 – midnight – on Friday UTC) on DMR Talkgroup 969.

HF Nets :

The 7.188 Friendly Net – Meets daily at 0700 AST (1100 UTC) on 7.188 MHz. This hour-long net has been operating since being started by U. S. Virgin Islands’ amateur radio operators in 2009. It is a great place to meet Caribbean hams, test transmissions and receptions, get technical tips and guidance and to share information particularly about Caribbean events. Net control operators are located throughout the Caribbean and guests NCOs are always welcomed and are greatly appreciated.

Caribbean Emergency Weather Net – Main Frequency is 3.815 Mhz LSB and secondary Frequency is
7.162 Mhz LSB. The purpose of the net is to handle emergency and weather traffic at all times. CEWN
will be activated to 24 hour operations in case of an emergency such as hurricane or earthquake per
