LICENSE EXAM INFORMATION

Are you thinking about getting a Ham Radio license, or upgrading your existing license? We can help with that !

Contact the coordinator for your island to schedule a test.

St. Croix – Scheduled Exam times are one hour before the monthly club meeting ( usually 1st Saturday of the month ) , however this must be arranged in advance to ensure VE (volunteer examiner) availability. Tests can also be scheduled for different time. If you are wanting to take a test please email stxarcclub@gmail.com to get this setup.

St. John – TBD

St. Thomas – TBD

For all islands there is also the option to take the test online. Please refer above as to who to contact about testing virtually. Virtual exams can be scheduled any day based on Volunteer Examiner availability. If testing virtually, you will need a computer ( laptop or desktop ) that has a camera and microphone OR tablet/cellphone.  In addition you will need to register online for the exam. For all exams, applicants must bring the following:

* Government issued photo ID : (Driver’s license, military ID, passport, etc.)
* FRN Number issued for free by FCC : Click here for instructions on how to do this. You MUST HAVE    FRN in order to take an exam.
* Required fee of $15.00. (This fee can be waved under certain circumstances but be prepared to pay when taking exam )
